Raised in Miami, Gabriela is a young working mom & devoted wife, she is ready to get things done and modernize District 2. Gabriela is looking forward to working hard and advocating for the betterment of every constituent.

MEET GABRIELA
Gabriela Chirinos is excited to announce the launch of her political campaign for commissioner of the City of Miami District 2. Gabriela’s vision puts locals first and will make our community a better place for all; she already has an accomplished history of working to improve the lives of people.

Inspired by her parents, Gabriela grew up involved in the charitable world through them being presidents of nonprofit organizations, making a difference in the community and abroad. While attending St. Brendan High School, Gabriela and her father organized an international medical mission to the Amazon communities of Peru. Gabriela was recognized for her leadership during her involvement in her high school’s Model United Nations, Political Awareness Club and Business for America. Gabriela was selected to attend the Junior State of America program and the Junior Statemen Summer School Program at Georgetown University.
Gabriela achieved a lifelong dream by being admitted to one of the most prestigious universities in the world, Boston University (BU). While in BU, she helped fundraise and promote for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and during summers she volunteered in her local community back in Miami.
After graduating from Boston University with a BA in International Relations, she has worked for international governments promoting trade and business to the US. She spearheaded successful projects and businesses and became a small business owner to continue to bring business into Florida. She is the right person to champion the cause of the citizens and make District 2 fulfil its massively untapped potential as a global hub for business, culture, and lifestyle.
Raised in Miami, residing since she was six years old, Gabriela has seen Miami’s development into a thriving metropolis. Gabriela wants to help District 2 seize this unprecedented inflection point of post pandemic population growth to help Miami become a global powerhouse among the likes of New York, Singapore et al. She brings a global perspective to the table, having lived in fully developed cities such as Boston and working with countries. She has advanced knowledge in city building, governance, and the importance of community building for improving the quality of life.

Promoting outdoor sports/activities expanding and improving of city parks and recreational facilities.
